Shopify knows two
fulfillment states.
Your workshop has six.

Statuscraft adds the stages between the sale and the shipment. Define your own, move orders through them in the admin, and give customers a page where they can check for themselves.

The gap

Six weeks of work, filed under “unfulfilled”

If you make what you sell, the order is not waiting. It is being cut, welded, cast, sewn. Shopify has no word for any of that, so the customer assumes nothing has happened and emails to ask.

Shopify alone

Paid42 days unfulfilledFulfilled

Customer sees: nothing. You see: four emails asking about it.

With Statuscraft

ReceivedTimberProductionOilingReady

Same 42 days. Named, dated, and visible to the person who paid.

How it works

01

Define your stages

Name them the way your shop already talks. Set the order, pick a colour, add a due window in days, and choose which stages email the customer.

02

Move orders through them

A block on the order page changes the status in place. Staff never leave the order they are looking at, and every change is stamped with who and when.

03

Let the customer look

Order number and email on a page of your storefront returns the timeline. Statuses that are set to email send automatically, so most people never need the page.

The product

Four surfaces. Two of them your customer sees.

Your flow, not ours

There is no fixed set of stages to adopt. Pick a trade below and the whole page follows it, the same way the app follows whatever you type in.

Where the data sits

Your order data stays in Shopify

We store

  • The Shopify order ID
  • Your status names and colours
  • Which status an order is in, and when it changed
  • A salted hash of the customer email, for lookup

We never store

  • Line items or product data
  • Shipping or billing addresses
  • Customer names or phone numbers
  • The email address in plaintext

Status history is kept for as long as you have the app. Apps in this category commonly delete it after six months to two years. Uninstall and we delete everything within thirty days; export first from the settings screen.

Pricing

Priced on orders, not features

Every plan has every feature, including due dates. The only difference is how many orders a month you move through statuses. 14-day trial, then billing through Shopify. No free plan.

Questions

Statuscraft has no reviews. Why install it?

Because it launched recently, and we would rather say that than manufacture proof. What you can check instead is on this page: the actual screens, the price, the order limits, and what we store. The trial runs fourteen days without a card commitment beyond Shopify billing.

Does it change Shopify fulfillment?

No. Shopify still owns fulfilled and unfulfilled, and your shipping and tracking work exactly as now. Statuscraft only describes the period before you ship.

Will it slow the storefront?

The lookup is one page you add yourself. There is no script injected across the theme, so product and checkout pages are untouched.

Can I rename or reorder statuses later?

Yes, at any time. Past history keeps the name it was recorded under, so old orders still read correctly.

What happens if I pass my order limit?

Existing orders keep working and we email you to move up a plan. Nothing is deleted and the customer page does not go down.

Who builds this?

Made To, a small studio that builds Shopify apps and themes. Support replies come from the people who wrote the app.
